I love it
I thought it was a painting at first. I know I hate it when other people say to me... 'hey that reminds me of...' Buuuut, this reminds me of the cover art for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
As for tips, whilst it's hard to advice on something as subjective as this... I can still give you my 2c.
I think it would be interesting if you worked some more depth into the background. The birds start the illusion, but thats pretty much where it stops. Everything else suggests that there is nothing behind her and she is simply a flat object on top of a texture. And there is nothing wrong with this of course. But it might look nice, if you had a play with that.
I can see this image heading in the direction of being more blended... so she is almost a part of that texture background. I say, don't go in that direction, go the other way and make her jump off the page!
